Our ranch is family owned and operated and has been on this site since 1923 as a dude ranch. The oldest and most historic in the region. It has the most idyllic of settings set in a high sided valley, with rugged cliffs and grassed valley bottom next to a pure clean river within the Shoshone National Forest , half way along the “most scenic 52 miles in the USA ” .Yellowstone Highway. We are 20 minutes from Yellowstone East Gate . We consistently get rated at 4+ stars and have only 9 exclusive log cabins , every one with unique and locally hand crafted furniture, the beds being simply beautiful Aspen log from local forests, the cabins are all unique in design and configuration that are spread out in the forest, most with mountain views and views of horses on the corral. “Thank you – had a wonderful time! The highlight of the trip!” Stephanie and Drew,

“We stayed in Wyoming for two weeks, Wyoming is so fun. We had a good time in Wyoming. The UXU Ranch was so fun. They fed us maybe the best food that I have ever tasted. Mom’s food is good too. … I had the best vacation ever at the UXU Ranch with my family.” – Yoo Jung Lee,  Age 7

“Thanx alot! It was beautiful!” Adalbert and Melanie Windisch,

“Spectacular!” Brad and Michelle Fleenor,

“Accommodations were great and the hospitality was a whole new level. Absolutely amazing staff with a great facility! Learning how to fly fish was fantastic too thanks” Scott Johnson.

“I went alone to the ranch and was picked up by the fishing guide from the Cody airport. He is one of the most positive people I’ve ever met and it got better from there — the best experience I’ve had for vacation. They all made me feel at home and by the end of the week, all of us there were trying to plan a return together in the fall. I’m an experienced rider. The trails could be as …challenging or as gentle as the riders chose. The wranglers  took those of us who wanted a more thrilling adventure separately making sure every guest got just what they came for. I came to recharge in the wilderness and I got just that — and Terry’s amazing food! Thanks to all of you — and to Loren who was wonderful.  ”
